The Nauticam NA-CV1 safely takes the powerful Canon PowerShot V1 underwater—ideal for anyone who wants to capture high-quality 4K video and use Dual Pixel AF. The housing, milled from a solid block of aluminum and hard-anodized, is extremely robust and waterproof to 100 m, while featuring an ergonomic design with a practical hand rest and two-stage shutter release for precise camera control.

The Nauticam NA-CV1 Housing

The NA-CV1 is the latest development in a series of advanced underwater housings for high-performance compact cameras supported by Nauticam. Many features originally reserved for professional DSLR systems have been integrated into this compact system. The result is an underwater housing that allows the user to fully exploit the potential of this modern compact camera underwater.

All the basic features and ergonomic improvements that Nauticam users have come to appreciate over the years are also found in the NA-CV1. The housing is milled from a solid block of aluminum and then hard-anodized to provide reliable protection against saltwater. It closes with a simple yet secure twist-lock mechanism. The right side of the housing is ergonomically shaped to fit perfectly in the palm of the hand. Nauticam’s two-stage shutter release lever provides a clear distinction between the half-press and full-press points.

The Nauticam Leak Warning and Vacuum Monitoring System is integrated as standard. It provides audible and visual warnings in the event of water ingress. In combination with the optional M16 Vacuum Valve II (25625), the system’s watertightness can be tested before the dive and monitored throughout the entire dive.

The N50 Port System

The NA-CV1 comes standard with the N50 3.5? Acrylic Dome Port, which supports the camera’s entire 16–50?mm zoom range. Additional ports from the N50 system are available for maximum flexibility. For example, combining the optional N50 Short Port 25 (38703) with the WWL-C (83203) results in an impressive wide-angle field of view (FOV) ranging from 130° to 71°—ideal for reefscapes and wide-angle underwater scenes.
