The AOI Modular Frame in the 160 mm x 160 mm configuration (model AOI MDS-01-BKT-1-SLR) is the perfect foundation for a customizable camera rig for underwater photography and action cam applications. Whether for GoPro, DJI Osmo Action, Insta360, Campark, Akaso, or other action cameras—this modular system offers maximum flexibility, stability, and professional expansion options.

Thanks to high-quality construction from hard-anodized aluminum alloy, the frame is extremely robust yet lightweight—ideal for use in water. The ergonomic grip cups ensure a secure hold, even when wearing neoprene gloves. Using the two 1-inch ball adapters (AOI BM-03), additional accessories such as underwater lights, flashes, flex arms, or action cam mounts can be attached easily and securely.

Versatile and Expandable

The AOI system has a modular design—the frame can be extended, widened, or reconfigured at any time. This allows you to create a custom setup in just a few simple steps—from a compact handheld mount for underwater housings to a dual-handle system with a light and camera.

An integrated GoPro adapter (AOI GP-FM-01) allows for the direct mounting of compatible cameras. The included butterfly tripod screw (1/4''-20) also enables connection to other housings, mounts, or tripods.
