Nauticam O-Ring for Insta 350 X5 Housing

O-rings are wear parts.

Most manufacturers recommend replacing the O-ring at least once a year.

Please remember to inspect the O-ring after each use of the underwater housing:

• Inspect the O-ring
• Clean the O-ring groove
• Lightly grease the O-ring *

* Do not use too much grease, as the grease itself does not provide a seal. It serves only to maintain the O-ring’s flexibility.

Important:

Colored O-rings (red, blue, yellow, etc.) are made of silicone. The O-ring grease used for lubrication must therefore under no circumstances contain silicone, as this is already present in the O-ring and the thickening O-ring would no longer seal properly.
