Description

The UCS-Q1i combines the best features of the UCS-Q1 and UIS-P1. The UCS-Q1i features AOI InTeLi™ mode, which ensures accurate and consistent TTL exposure across multiple camera systems, surpassing conventional S-TTL or TTL functions. This advanced mode intelligently adapts to camera settings and provides improved precision in exposure control.


In addition, AOI InTeLi™ mode includes i-Macro mode, which improves macro flash photography by optimizing light output for close-up shots. Underwater photographers can capture fine details with breathtaking clarity, resulting in beautifully lit macro shots. With support for Sony TTL and i-Macro, OM System RC TTL and i-Macro, and TTL HSS and M-HSS modes, AOI InTeLi™ mode sets a new standard in underwater flash technology.


Most importantly, with an impressive guide number of 22 (GN22) at ISO 100, the UCS-Q1i remains the brightest flash in its class, providing powerful illumination underwater. Like the UIS-P1, the UCS-Q1i supports High Speed Shutter (HSS) compatibility with Sony cameras, allowing photographers to freeze fast underwater scenes with precision and clarity.
