The 200DLM/A underwater housing, in combination with the Sony Alpha a7C II or a7CR, is a compact and affordable option for great video recording while diving, freediving, surfing, in the pool, or on other adventures.

The DLM Port System was designed to be the smallest and lightest system ever. The compact design excludes the use of full-frame lenses with larger diameters. If you need a wider selection of lenses, choose the 200DL underwater housing for mirrorless cameras a7C II, a7CR instead.

The a7C II features a 33-megapixel full-frame sensor, while its high-resolution sister, the a7CR, boasts 61 megapixels. Both cameras are capable of shooting 4K UHD video, feature excellent autofocus for subject tracking, and have good battery life. The image quality combined with the size makes them a joy for the traveling underwater photographer.

Pre-Dive Checks

There is no greater safety feature than being able to see your camera and O-ring seal through the back of the housing. Our signature open groove design keeps the rear O-ring in a natural position that is easier to maintain and more reliable than forcing the O-ring into a channel.

Once the housing is closed, you can see how the O-ring forms a solid, watertight seal.

We recommend using the vacuum kit with 1/2" valve #47012 to create a vacuum in the housing and check for leaks before submerging in water (included in the Deluxe Kit).

Construction

Our specially formulated ABS-PC housing is extremely durable yet significantly lighter than aluminum. The light color keeps your camera cooler when shooting in warm, sunny environments.

Lens mount

Ikelite lens mounts are the lightest on the market, yet sturdy and resistant to rough surf.

We support a wide range of lenses. Most popular zoom lenses and selected focus rings can be snapped into place using a simple gear, allowing you to adjust the settings directly with your fingertips. The zoom and focus mechanisms vary depending on the lens used.

Lens mounts and zoom gears are sold separately. Please refer to the corresponding connection table for compatibility information.

WIFI transmission

Use the camera's built-in Wi-Fi function to download photos to another device without having to remove the camera from the housing. The Wi-Fi function can only be used above water and in close proximity to the connected device.

Compatibility

Unless otherwise specified, this housing is not compatible with additional grips, battery grips, eyepieces, LCD covers, or other accessories.

Due to differences in the placement of lenses and controls, other camera models cannot be used in this housing or adapted to it. We are not aware of any other models that can be used in this housing or adapted to it.
