AOI UCL-05N underwater +6 Close-up lens (macro lens)

The AOI UCL-05N is a high-quality wet macro lens with +6 diopters. It magnifies the subject and allows the camera to focus at short distances, creating sharp, detailed, immersive images. It is perfect for close-up shots of tiny creatures, fish, corals, textures and more.

The close-up lens mounts to the port port of the housing and can be installed and removed during the dive. It can be mounted directly on 67 mm threaded ports and on other dimensions using an adapter.

High optical performance

The UCL-05N is a super-sharp underwater macro lens that consists of high-quality AR (anti-reflective) multilayer precision optical elements (4 elements organized in 3 groups). Images taken with the lens are detailed and extremely sharp at the corners. Professionally designed elements eliminate chromatic aberrations, and an AR coating on all glass elements helps prevent unwanted reflections from the sun or artificial light sources.

Durable construction

The lens barrel is constructed of a durable aluminum alloy with a black hard coat. This coating protects the outside of the lens, safeguarding it from scratches and damage. During development, the lens was thoroughly tested in extreme conditions (depth, temperature, salinity and radiation) to ensure resistance and durability over the long term.

Universal compatibility

The lens has a 67mm thread mount that is compatible with most housings on the market today. Perfect for use with compact or mirrorless housings. The base of the mount features a slim design that allows the lens to be used with most lens holders, adapters, bayonet converters, flip mounts, and quick-release adapters.

Stacking & Enhancing

A 67mm thread at the front allows additional macro lenses and/or color correction filters to be used on the lens in series (stacking).
 

Accessory package

The lens comes with a locking strap and quick-release locking buckle to ensure that the lens is securely attached to the system even when it is removed from the lens mount of the housing. The Velcro strap allows the lens to be mounted and dismounted without having to detach it from the housing A padded carrying case allows for safe storage and transportation.
