The UWL-09Pro wet wide angle lens offers an exceptionally wide field of view and a zero minimum focus distance, allowing for stunning wide angle and macro shots with super sharp and detailed images. It is perfect for a variety of compositions, including seascapes, divers, shipwrecks, and schools of fish, without moving further away from the subject, taking full advantage of the clarity of the water and artificial light sources.
 

The lens attaches to the housing lens port and can be attached and removed during the dive. It can be mounted on lens mounts with a 67mm thread and other dimensions using an adapter.

The high optical performance UWL-09Pro offers unrivaled quality with 6 precision-crafted, multilayer optical elements (organized in 6 groups). Images captured with the lens are exceptionally detailed and exhibit impressive overall sharpness. The combination of a super-wide field of view (130 degrees) and a minimum focusing distance of zero offers unlimited possibilities for image design and creative compositions, including near-focus wide-angle and over/under (half/half) split images. Professionally designed elements eliminate chromatic aberrations. Anti-reflective (AR) coating on all glass elements helps eliminate stray light from the sun or artificial light sources.

Optical glass dome 
A high-quality optical glass dome with a multi-layer AR coating reduces flare in images taken against the sun and minimizes reflections caused by artificial lighting. The glass dome also sheds water better, making it easy to create impressive and clean “top-down” cross sections. The optical glass dome is also exceptionally durable.

Durable construction
The lens barrel is constructed of a durable aluminum alloy with a black hard coat. During development, the lens was thoroughly tested in extreme conditions (depth, temperature, salinity and radiation) to ensure long-term durability and reliability.

Rotating blades 
The blades of the lens have an improved design and can be rotated at any time underwater according to the image composition without the use of tools. Vertical and horizontal images can be easily captured without the sun or flash lights reflecting on the dome and disturbing crystal clear images.

Universal compatibility 
The lens has a 67mm threaded mount that is compatible with most housings on the market today. Perfect for compact, mirrorless or SLR housings. Two different adapters are included with the lens to ensure the best fit for all types of housings, eliminating the need to resolve compatibility issues in advance or purchase additional adapters separately. The base of the mount is covered with a rubber ring that ensures a firm hold of the lens during mounting and dismounting. The slim design allows the lens to be used with most lens holders, adapters, bayonet converters, flip-up bezels and quick-release adapters.
 

The Underwater Wide Angle lens comes with a quick-release safety lanyard to ensure that the lens is securely attached to the system even when it is removed from the lens mount of the housing. Corrosion-free front and rear lens caps are included. A high-quality padded carrying bag allows for safe storage and transportation.
