Lens Connections (Ports)
This housing is equipped with our robust Dry Lock (DL) connection system. "Dry Lock" refers to the placement of the O-ring on the outside of the port mount. This improves visibility and reduces the risk of water dripping on your valuable camera sensor. DL ports are the lightest on the market, yet sturdy and able to withstand rough surf. Attachment is quick and secure. A system of extensions can easily accommodate a variety of lenses.

Most popular zoom lenses and select lens focus rings lock into place with a simple gear that lets you adjust right at your fingertips. A large soft-touch knob on the side of the housing makes fine adjustment a breeze. Zoom and focus gears differ depending on the lens used. Zoom gears are sold separately.

Confidence
The unique rear seal design prevents accidental twisting or stretching of the O-ring for easy and secure installation. We've eliminated the need for an O-ring groove or channel that can trap sand, dirt or debris. Three double passivated stainless steel locking cap snaps are easy to use and virtually unbreakable. On the clear back, you can see how the O-ring forms a solid, watertight seal when closed.

Vacuum testing
A vacuum valve is installed on the side of the housing as standard. The vacuum valve is designed to have a low profile to avoid interference with controls. The optional vacuum pump with gauge #47011 can be used to apply a vacuum to the housing to test for leaks before entering the water.

Applying a vacuum to the system also provides additional safety at the water's surface, which is especially important when the housing is used in rough surf.

M16 accessory port
The replacement M16 threaded accessory port provides a mounting point for third-party accessories, including HDMI bulkheads.

TTL Exposure
This housing supports your choice of shooting manual flash or adding TTL electronics depending on your application. The included manual hot shoe with Ikelite ICS-5 bulkhead supports manual flash exposure with a variety of flash units including Ikelite, SEA&SEA, INON and others.

You can enjoy the fastest and most accurate TTL exposure on the market when you add the DL4 DS Link TTL converter # 46082 and a compatible Ikelite DS flash unit. The DL4 supports rear curtain sync, and exposure compensation can be added or subtracted in-camera.

Ergonomics
Good ergonomics are critical when you need to focus on composition, focus, and proper exposure. Large, curved control levers put key controls right where you need them: Shutter and autofocus (via the AF-L button). This combination lets you shoot with or without back button focus, an advanced technique useful for focusing on super-macro and fast-moving subjects. Each lever can be extended with the optional shutter release extension # 4077.95 to achieve perfect distances when using a right hand grip.

The dials are all operated intuitively via high-quality soft-touch knobs. An oversized, lobed knob puts the zoom/focus knob at your fingertips while your left hand stays on the grip. The stainless steel, direct-drive knobs are virtually fail-safe and user-serviceable and adjustable in a snap.

All rear camera knobs are accessible via smooth-action, hard-anodized aluminum push buttons for reliable performance and easy maintenance. These controls are clearly identified by laser engraving on the back of the housing that never fades or falls off.

Set up
The camera mount is front-operable for easy installation and removal. A small mounting plate is attached to the bottom of the camera and secured to the front of the housing. The camera mounting plate does not need to be removed from the camera for surface use or when changing the battery or memory cards. The mounting plate has a 1/4-20 thread on the bottom so it can be attached to a tripod on the surface.

Viewfinder
The included super-eye viewfinder provides an enhanced view of the camera's optical viewfinder when viewed through a diving mask.

Handling and Travel
The housing, baseplate and handles have been optimized to reduce weight while maintaining strength and durability. Right-side quick-release handle No. 4077.02 (sold separately) can be added or removed as needed. The precision machined aluminum base features 1/4-20 tripod mounting bases and additional mounting options for future accessories. The base and handle can be quickly removed if your system needs to be disassembled for travel.

A 1/4-20 threaded mounting point is located front and center on the housing above the lens mount. Lightweight accessories like a focus light or GoPro camera can be attached to this mount.

If you are shooting with two strobes or lighting arms, a top handle can be added to carry the camera to and from the dive site. The top handles are available in a cable handle # 4080.07 or an aluminum top handle # 4080.08. The rigid aluminum version provides additional mounting points for lighting and accessories.

It is highly recommended that a dedicated focus light be attached to the top mount or flash arm for more accurate autofocus in low light conditions.

Durability and corrosion-free performance
The white ABS-PC material housing provides great strength and corrosion-free performance with minimal maintenance. ABS-PC is lighter than aluminum, providing convenience during travel and less resistance underwater. The specially designed color deflects the sun and keeps your camera running cooler and longer. Compared to black or clear housings, the bright color provides better contrast for a better view of the camera, LCD screen and O-ring seal.

Camera Compatibility
This housing is compatible only with Fujifilm X-T4 cameras supplied by the manufacturer. Unless otherwise specified, this housing is not suitable for use with add-on grips, battery grips, eyepieces, LCD covers or other accessories.

Differences in lens and control placement prevent other Fujifilm camera models, including the XT-3, from being used in or adapted to this housing. We are not aware of any other models that could be used in or adapted to this housing.

Ikelite DS Flash Compatibility
Any Ikelite DS flash unit can be used in manual exposure mode by connecting one or two flash units with a compatible electrical sync cord. Current model DS flash units can be used in TTL exposure mode by connecting the optional DL4 DS Link TTL converter and an electrical sync cable.

Non-Ikelite flash compatibility
SEA&SEA, INON, and Retra flash units with electrical connection can be triggered in manual exposure mode using an electrical sync cable. Flash units without an electrical sync cord connection cannot be connected to this system unless they are triggered by a hardwired flash unit.

Compatibility with non-digital Ikelite flash units
Older non-digital flash units with an ICS-5 electrical sync cord bulkhead can be used with this system in manual exposure modes.

Fiber Optic Compatibility
Flash units that are addressed with fiber optic cable (FOC) can be used with fiber optic transmitters for DL and DLM underwater housings.

Remote triggering compatibility
Strobes with remote slave capabilities can be triggered by a strobe attached to the housing with an electrical sync cable. Ikelite DS flash units support remote triggering with the Optical Slave Converter # 4405 or the Water Wizard system (manufactured and sold by Aquatica).

Wi-Fi transmission
Use the camera's built-in Wi-Fi feature to download photos to another device without removing the camera from its housing. The Wi-Fi function can only be used over water in close proximity to the connected device.
