The α1 offers high resolution and high speeds. Fast readout from the 50.1 MP sensor enables continuous shooting at up to 30 BpS with AF and AE tracking with electronic shutter. Perfect for any situation where fractions of a second matter.

Blackout-free shooting without interruptions
Blackout-free subject display lets you react quickly when needed. The electronic viewfinder updates at 240 bps to minimize latency during continuous shooting.

Multi-layer back-illuminated 50.1 MP full-frame image sensor offers higher resolution and more speed. Separate layers for pixels and circuitry and new A/D conversion provide faster processing.
