The UWL-09F wet wide-angle lens offers an exceptionally wide field of view and a minimum focusing distance of zero, allowing you to capture stunning wide-angle and close-focus images that are super sharp and detailed.

It is perfect for a variety of compositions, including seascapes, divers, shipwrecks, and schools of fish, without having to move further away from the subject, taking full advantage of the clarity of the water and artificial light sources.

The lens is mounted on the lens port of the housing and can be installed and removed during the dive. It can be mounted on 67 mm threaded sockets and other dimensions using an adapter.

High optical performance

The UWL-09F offers unmatched quality with 5 multi-coated precision optical elements (organized in 5 groups). Images captured with the lens are exceptionally detailed and feature impressive overall sharpness. The combination of a super-wide field of view (130 degrees) and a minimum focusing distance of zero offers unlimited possibilities for framing and creative compositions, including close-focus wide-angle and above/below (half-and-half) partial images. Professionally developed elements eliminate chromatic aberrations. The AR (anti-reflective) coating on all glass elements helps to prevent flare from the sun or artificial light sources.

Durable construction

The lens barrel is made of a durable aluminum alloy with a black hard coating. The dome port also features a hard coating that protects it from scratches and damage. During development, the lens was thoroughly tested under extreme conditions (depth, temperature, salinity, and radiation) to ensure long-term resistance and durability.

Rotatable wings

The lens wings (sun visor) feature an improved design and can be rotated underwater at any time without tools to suit the image composition. Vertical and horizontal images can be captured easily without the sun or flashes reflecting on the dome and interfering with crystal-clear images.

Universal compatibility

The lens has a 67 mm thread mount that is compatible with most housings available on the market today. Perfect for use with compact, mirrorless, or SLR housings. Two different adapters are included with the lens to ensure the best fit for all body types, so there are no compatibility issues or need to purchase additional adapters separately. The base of the mount is covered with a rubber ring that ensures a secure hold on the lens during installation and removal. The slim design allows the lens to be used with most lens holders, adapters, bayonet converters, flip mounts, and quick-release adapters.

Accessory package

The lens comes with a secure loop mounting kit and a quick-release, secure cable to ensure that the lens remains securely attached to the system even when removed from the camera's lens mount. Non-corrosive front and rear lens caps are included. A high-quality padded carrying case allows for safe storage and transport.
